Student Groups


Pre-Health Student Groups
Student groups are a great way to meet like-minded people. The following student groups participate in Health Careers Center functions and events. There are many more student groups than these...look at the Student Activities Office web site for a complete list of all current student groups

Pre-Pharmacy Club
This student group is made up of students wishing to explore the field of pharmacy and gather with students sharing similar interests.

Public Health Association
The Public Health Association aims to be a resource for students interested in the public health field. The purpose of the group is to introduce students to this up and coming health care career field. Students will be able to meet people currently working in public health, learn about the application process, and find out about the different opportunities within the field.

Pre-Medicine Student Groups

Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED) Pre-Medical Honors Society - Minnesota Chapter
This group is for students considering medical school in their future. Through informative speakers, volunteer opportunities, social events, and shadowing opportunities, this group hopes to expose students to all aspects of both getting accepted into medical school and life as a physician.

Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS)
The mission of Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) is to guide and assist minority pre-medical students explore and gain insight into professional healthcare careers by coordinating and implementing informational programs, providing helpful academic resources, and organizing volunteer opportunities. MAPS will also strive to create awareness about healthcare disparities among minorities and work towards eliminating them.
